A Book Lover’s Gift Guide

For everyone who is new here, WELCOME!

We are so excited that you have joined our community of book lovers. This space is currently growing, and we are experimenting. We want it to be a place where you can talk about books with one another and where you can discover your next favorite read. We also want to help you carve out your own bookish life and routines. This newsletter will always be completely free to receive, to comment on and to join our community.

We’ve just opened up a thread for all of you to share what you are currently reading and your book recommendations.

Tell us what you're reading

We do all of our own gift wrapping in-house so it will come to you in a gorgeous little package that you can gift right away.

If you ever need book recommendations, tell us what you are into reading, or what your friend is into reading for gifts, in the comments below and we can be your book concierge.

And speaking of gifting. Tis the season right? We’ve created five beautiful book bundle ideas for the bookish person in your life.

1. The Cozy Bundle

A book + a candle + a plush blanket

This is the ultimate “you deserve to ignore everyone and read” kit. Works for moms, introverts, eldest daughters, and anyone who has ever whispered “I just want to be left alone with my book” and worried that no one was listening.

2. A Reading Lunch on You

A gift card to their favorite restaurant (for one!) + a book to savor at the table

Eating alone in public is one of those joys that sometimes we need permission for. Give your friends the permission.

3. The Nightstand Upgrade

A bouquet of flowers + a cute new reading lamp + a book they’ve been eyeing

Think of this as a permission slip to stay up past bedtime. A small, warm-glow lamp transforms the whole reading experience and makes even ten stolen minutes before sleep feel like a luxury.

4. The Bookish Bath Retreat

Bath salts or a luxe soak + face mask + a great book

For the friend who wants to disappear for 45 minutes and re-emerge a better person. It’s an entire reset disguised as “I’m just taking a quick bath.”

5. The Quiet Afternoon Kit

Ultra-soft socks + a mug + gourmet tea or hot chocolate + a book

Give them a home-made tiny ritual in a box. Made for the reader who deserves one uninterrupted hour and a warm drink.
